La Concha

Die Strände des Fischerdorfs El Cotillo liegen im Nordwesten der Insel Fuerteventura. Sie erstrecken sich nach Norden wie eine Reihe von weißen Sandbuchten und ruhigem türkisen Wasser. Seine Nähe zum Dorf bietet die Möglichkeit, einen majestätischen Sonnenuntergang auf einer Terrasse zu genießen, wo die Besucher den Himmel beobachten können, der sich in nur wenigen Minuten von Ocker zu Violett verfärbt.

Costa Calma

Ganz in der Nähe des Dorfes La Lajita, im Süden Fuerteventuras, liegt der Strand Costa Calma, ein 2 km langer Touristenstrand mit weißem Sand und erfrischendem türkisen Wasser. Seine traumhafte Küstenlinie lädt zu einem Spaziergang entlang einer ruhigen Promenade mit atemberaubenden Ausblicken auf die Küste voller ockerfarbener Berge ein, die von der Erosion aufgeweicht wurden.

Located in a quieter area, Playa del Medio offers a more private atmosphere, and a more natural beach experience. With fine sand and calm waters, it is perfect for couples and families looking for a quiet corner. It doesn’t have many services, but its natural beauty and serenity make it worth a visit for those looking for a more intimate connection with nature.

 

Playas de Butihondo y Matorral

Un corto trayecto en coche desde el hotel te lleva a estas dos magníficas playas. La Playa de Butihondo, con su suave arena y aguas azules, es ideal para deportes acuáticos y paseos relajantes. La Playa del Matorral, en Morro Jable, es famosa por su extensión y sus áreas bien equipadas con servicios, como duchas, hamacas y chiringuitos.

Sotavento

Er besteht aus fünf Stränden (La Barca, Risco del Paso, Mirador, Malnombre und Los Canarios), die bei Ebbe frei begehbar sind. Die Küste von Sotavento ist ein endlos langer, weißer Sandstrand mit klarem, türkisfarbenem Wasser. Betancuria

La Casa de los Coroneles in La Oliva

Biosphere Reserve

In May 2009, UNESCO designated Fuerteventura as a Biosphere Reserve, the largest in the Canary Islands, spanning 352,813 hectares.

With 13 natural environments of special interest and 9 bird reserves, Fuerteventura showcases a diverse range of ecosystems, including deserts, coasts, and marine habitats.

The island's Biosphere Reserve status recognizes its natural, cultural, and environmental values, highlighting its dedication to renewable energy, water management, and sustainable practices.

Excursions and nature

Corralejo Natural Park and Grandes Playas Corralejo
Just a few minutes drive away, Corralejo Natural Park extends as a vast area of dunes that reaches all the way to the ocean. Covering more than nine kilometers of coastline, the Grandes Playas Corralejo offer very fine sand and turquoise waters, ideal both for relaxing and water sports. The waves here vary, making it perfect for activities such as windsurfing, kitesurfing and surfing, or simply for those wanting to float on calm waters at certain points of the beach. These beaches have sun lounger and umbrella rental services, as well as beach bars where you can enjoy refreshments and light meals.

Lobos Island

Just a few minutes by ferry from the port of Corralejo, Lobos Island is a natural treasure with hiking trails, untouched beaches, and exceptional diving spots. The perfect place for a day of exploration surrounded by turquoise waters, and a unique volcanic landscape.

Jandía Natural Park:

Located on Jandía peninsula, this natural park is home to some of Fuerteventura’s most unique landscapes. Discover it on foot or by bicycle, and explore its trails, traversing from black sand beaches to volcanic mountains, letting you connect with nature in its purest form.

Calderón Hondo

One of the most outstanding volcanic formations on the island, this crater offers a spectacular hike with panoramic views. Ideal for families, it is an easy trail, perfect for discovering Fuerteventura’s volcanic nature from a different perspective.
